This half term, children can enjoy a wildlife-themed day camp for 8-12 year olds taking place on two separate dates with different nature-based activities each day.
Each day is packed full of fun games and activities to help children connect with the fantastic natural world that surrounds them.
Day camps take place at Windsor Great Park Environmental Centre.
Children can expect to:
🌳 Connect with nature and learn about wildlife in fresh air
🌳 Meet new like minded friends and join our 'Team Wilder' clan
🌳 Create beautiful nature-based crafts within our private area of Windsor Great Park.
During this session the group will learn to build secure dens, safely light fires, and learn about the winter wildlife of Windsor Great Park!
During this session the group will learn about wildlife big and small through pond dipping, bug hunting, woodland walks, using binoculars and lots of games!
Windsor Great Park has partnered with the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) to offer engaging nature activity programmes for children and young people, as well as a range of activities for adults and families.
Situated within a private area of Windsor Great Park, the Centre offers the perfect indoor and outdoor settings for inspiring educational experiences amidst the forest and grassland.
