Our toolkit for meetings & events pulls together all the resources you may need when planning your event. Find out how to get here. We’ve got a selection of local maps you can download and share with delegates or use to inspire your event planning. Suggested itineraries give you ideas for how to structure a visit with suggestions on what to do and where to go. Our box office is a great resource for seeing what’s on and booking tickets directly, along with gifts and vouchers. Finally, we also have a virtual fam trip of our partner venues in the area for a snapshot of what’s on offer.
Windsor is located just 30 miles west of London with Heathrow Airport even closer, just 15 minutes away. Luton and Gatwick Airports are both within an hour's drive. The whole of the Royal Borough is easily accessible via the major motorway networks of the M3, M4, M25 and M40. The Windsor area is also well served by public transport, with a direct bus from London Victoria and two train stations connecting to London and the West Country and connections via the new Elizabeth Line too. The Queen’s Walkway
This walking route marks the occasion of Queen Elizabeth II becoming Britain's longest reigning monarch and was opened by the late Queen on her 90th birthday, 21 April 2016. The Queen's Walkway is a symbolic 6.373km long for the 63 years, 7 months and 3 days (one day more than Queen Victoria's reign) and links 63 of Windsor's best attractions, features and views.
Eton Walkway
Situated just across the river from Windsor via a pedestrian footbridge, the town of Eton has a rich community and diverse heritage. The Eton Walkway, a 2-mile / one-hour circular walk, connects 18 points of interest in the town starting at Windsor Bridge.
