3089 reviewsIn late September 2024, The Runnymede on Thames will become a Warner Leisure Hotel. Until then, we remain open for stays, spa and dining experiences, though please be aware we might not be looking our best due to construction work. As we continue to transition into an adult only Warner Leisure Hotel regretfully we will be unable to accommodate family stays. Children are still welcome in our public areas and in the grounds until we complete the transition.
The Runnymede on Thames is a true original. From its warm and friendly service to its stunning setting on the banks of the River Thames, this contemporary four-star hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Windsor and 40 minutes from central London.
Designed as a base for couples, friends or colleagues, the modern hotel boasts 180 perfectly-formed bedrooms and 7 meeting and event spaces, many with views of the river. But it’s beyond the rooms and spaces that The Runnymede comes into its own...
Guests will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining: Enjoy stunning views and delicious dining at Leftbank, all day dining in the Lounge, an al fresco affair at the River Hideout (May – October), afternoon tea and a tempting drinks menu.
Whether it’s to relax after a day of meetings or to escape for some me-time following a theme park visit, the award-winning spa promises a tranquil retreat. Take a dip in the pool, feel stresses melt away in the sauna, indulge in an ESPA or Guinot treatment or re-energise with a trip to the gym or fitness studio.
Outside, you’ll find the seasonally-available heated outdoor pool and tennis courts as well as The Runnymede fleet of boats for guests to enjoy a trip along the river to neighbouring Windsor.
For those looking to venture a little further afield, local attractions include Royal Ascot, National Trust sites, Legoland and Thorpe Park.
This property is part of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Concierge Service.
