In 2022, research by Ipsos found that 46% of Brits aged 16-75 are considering reducing their intake of animal products in the future. This growing appetite for plant-based food sees innovative restaurants and cafes developing and offering a fabulous range of vegan menu choices.
You might be inspired to try vegan food for Veganuary each January or you may be contemplating a more permanent change. Whether it’s for reasons of health, environment, or simply a desire to eat less meat, here are some of the tasty options to seek out in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
The Castle Hotel recognise that there is a growing need to provide plant-based and vegetarian options on the menus to help guests stick to a healthier or special lifestyle and lower the impact on the planet. Côte Brasserie's riverside restaurant has a growing vegan menu with a French twist which features vegan starters such as a Warm Beetroot Salad and vegan main courses including Mushroom Bourguignon and a Vegan Côte Burger.
