With the exception of Royal Ascot, King George weekend is the most important, historic and glamorous racing meeting on Ascot's calendar.
With the racecourse in full bloom, the first day of the QIPCO King George Diamond Weekend offers a relaxed afternoon of racing where racegoers can wander across the racecourse’s luscious lawns and sample the many Champagne and cocktail bars on offer under the glorious English sunshine.
The headline act, the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes is Europe’s indisputable midsummer middle-distance showpiece, attracting the very best horses from across the continent.
