Parallel Windsor is the UK's national celebration of disability inclusion and wellbeing.

Our award winning event is held in the grounds of the majestic Windsor Great Park and staged on the iconic Long Walk.

The format of Parallel Windsor features a range of challenge events for everybody of all ages, health conditions and abilities. Walk, push or run - there are no cut off times, highlighted by our slogan of 'Start Together, Finish Whenever'.

Our selection of distances range from 100m, 1k, 5k, 10k and our very own SuperSensory1K. The shorter distances start and finish on the historic Long Walk, with 2 stunning routes in The Great Park for the 5k and 10k; all finishing against the backdrop of Windsor Castle.

Everybody who starts gets a medal, t-shirt, water and goody bag.

Parallel Windsor also features our fully accessible Festival of Inclusivity, providing lots of inclusive fun and entertainment for the whole family.

Our festival footprint brings together a wonderful charity village, picnic area, yummy food concessions and our famous Clusivity Inn provided by The Windsor & Eton Brewery. There is also a huge range of activities and entertainment - Live Music Stage, Arts and Crafts, Storytelling, Sport, Active Lifestyle, Play, Skills and Careers, Technology, Mobility and Community.

As a fully accessible event, Parallel Windsor has on-site parking, on-site mobility aids for hire, accessible toilets (including 3 Mobiloos), medical support, quiet spaces and all support and assistance animals are welcome.

Sure returns as Headline Sponsor for Parallel Windsor 2024

The UK’s number one antiperspirant brand, Sure, will continue its support for the fully accessible mass-participation sports event and festival of inclusivity in Windsor Great Park on the 7th July 2024.

Sure and Parallel are continuing their partnership to help support a more inclusive world where everyone has the confidence to move more. Sure recognises that the opportunity to move is not distributed equally in the UK and believes everyone should have the freedom to break the limits that hold them back from movement.

Sure and Parallel will continue working together at Parallel Windsor to celebrate sport’s power to drive social impact and purposeful community development; whilst encouraging everyone to break the limits that hold them back.

Amazon MGM Studios to partner with Parallel Windsor

Amazon MGM Studios will support Parallel Windsor, the fully accessible family Festival of Inclusivity with challenge events for everyone, in Windsor Great Park on 7th July 2024.

An integral part of the Parallel Windsor experience is an inclusive family festival which features an outdoor stage for live music and a range of family entertainment which includes arts and crafts, storytelling, inclusive sport, active lifestyle, cookery, wellbeing and dance. There will also be food and drink from around the world, a community picnic area, quiet space and a sensory zone.

Parallel Windsor is excited to partner with Amazon MGM Studios to celebrate the power of entertainment to drive social impact and purposeful community development; whilst shining a light on an independent, no limits living lifestyle.
