Events and things to do top tips for autumn

There's plenty of things to do when you come.  Racing continues at Ascot Racecourse with a move from flat to jumps racing in October.

Take your pick from some fabulous fireworks spectaculars, and make sure you explore Windsor Great Park Illuminated, a very special light trail where the woodland and water of Windsor Great Park will come alive with dazzling lights, dancing stars and breath-taking projections.

At Windsor Castle, the Semi-State Rooms – the apartments which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century – open to the public and are included in the ticket price.
