Model Makers with the giant LEGO pumpkin
A new giant LEGO pumpkin, built using more than 50,000 LEGO bricks, is being unveiled to guests at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort today by its seasonal taskforce 'The Pumpkin Patrol'.
This October Model Makers at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort will take on a special seasonal assignment with the frightful task of maintaining hundreds of LEGO® pumpkins during the annual Brick or Treat celebration which runs until 5 November.
As part of a new initiative, the Resort’s expert Model Makers will operate under the name of ‘The Pumpkin Patrol' and will be responsible for building, cleaning, maintaining and repairing LEGO pumpkins of all shapes and sizes every day for a month during the park’s annual Brick or Treat celebrations.

The Pumpkin Patrol’s first job featured the safe installation and unveiling of a new giant pumpkin carving model which was built using 50,350 LEGO bricks.
The model which is on display for the first time during the month-long festivities was built offsite by a team of Model Makers and took a whopping 250 hours to create.
