From nights by the fire through to gingerbread, holly wreaths and roasted chestnuts, there really is nothing quite like Christmas.
Set in the most picturesque location, the Royal Borough is the ultimate spot to feel the spirit of the season.
Maidenhead Christmas Light Switch-On
As the countdown to Christmas begins in earnest, join the annual Maidenhead Christmas Light Switch-On on Saturday 27 November, and spend a wonderful evening with your nearest and dearest.
With main roads closed to traffic, the event will see street entertainment, an artisan market with crafts and food stalls and even a children’s funfair.
The eagerly awaited switch-on will commence at 6pm, followed by a spectacular display of fireworks from the roof of the Town Hall.
Admission is free, but warm smiles and plenty of happy cheer are very much welcome!
Windsor Great Park Illuminated
Those wanting to experience something truly magical are in for a real after-dark experience.
This winter, Windsor Great Park will transform into a dazzling celebration of light and colour. See it come alive with dancing stars, breathtaking installations, and glimmering reflections.
Opening on Thursday 18 November, the trail will take you on a magnificent multi-sensory journey through woodland and water.
Along the path, you’ll be greeted by the scent of mulled wine and hot chocolate, while fire pits will prove the perfect spot for marshmallow toasting.
Off-peak adult tickets start at £21.45 and off-peak tickets for children (aged 3 to 15) cost £13.20.
This event is open until Sunday 9 January, but early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
Good food takes the centre stage as we all gather around the dinner table during this special time.
Pick up a yule log (or two) at the Bachelors Acre market in Windsor and discover a rich and abundant range of fresh produce right on your doorstep.
Choose from locally grown fruit and vegetables, handcrafted breads, pies, cheeses, raw honey, and traditional Christmas tipples. What’s not to love?
