A tour of Theatre Royal Windsor takes you through a history of the theatre, taking in views from different parts of our stunning auditorium, plus head backstage and follow in the footsteps of the stars and be in with a chance of treading the boards and walking through the set of our current production*.
Learn more about Theatre Royal Windsor as a filming location too, with films such as the recent adaptation of Hamlet – starring Sir Ian McKellen – being filmed throughout the building.
With centuries of history, hear from our expert tour guides about the ghost that haunts the building, the stars who have appeared on our stage, and see up close how theatre is made in the modern day.
Please note, the tour involves stairs as it takes in many different levels of the building and does not have lift facilities available.
