The Berkshire Young Musician competition is back for 2025, and this year is open to all young brass, percussion and guitar players across the county.
Receiving approximately 80 entries, 47 successful students performed in the semi-final, and three from each age category have been selected to take part in the final at The Old Court on Sunday, 30th March. Join us to find out who will be awarded the title of Berkshire Young Musician of the Year 2025. There will also be a winner from each age category in each instrument section, plus a Judges Highly Commended award.
Every year, this competition sees incredibly talented young musicians perform at their highest standard, allowing them to gain feedback from panels of experienced musicians, win prizes and experience the chance to perform as a soloist to an audience in the semi-final and final.
