Guided ghost tours
Debbie also runs ghost tours for both Windsor and Henley.
Both towns have a fascinating array of ghosts ranging from Henry VIII and George III to Herne the Hunter in Windsor and Leander and Mary Blandy in Henley.
Guided Shakespeare walk
Debbie's Shakespeare walk is very popular as The Merry Wives of Windsor was written in Windsor by the Bard for Queen Elizabeth I in 1597. Many well known places are mentioned in the play and Herne the Hunter pops up again. Debbie has a great love of Shakespeare and has performed twice in his Windsor play so knows it very well.
Further information
Debbie is also qualified to guide further afield in Herefordshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
In addition to walking tours, Debbie also provides talks and presentations on a whole range of subjects. During the summer she takes boat commentaries for Hobbs and Sons of Henley covering the history of Henley and its famous regatta and the importance of the river.
She has been an intrical part of the Windsor Festival for the last 15 years providing walking tours, and is co-author of the book "Windsor, a History and Celebration".
Debbie is also a steward in St George's Chapel where she takes private tours and helps to run the tours for visiting schools throughout the year.
She is an actor in her free time and regularly can be seen on stage in the Windsor Castle pantomime.
