Windsor Wonderland 2024 | Competition Terms & Conditions

The following information and terms and conditions relate to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead – ‘Win a trip to a Windsor Wonderland 2024’ prize draw run by VisitWindsor. By entering this prize draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The promoter of this action is Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, henceforth referred to as ‘RBWM’ whose registered office is Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead - Visitor Marketing, Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1RF.

1. This prize draw is open to residents of Great Britain only, aged 18 and over, but excludes employees of RBWM, Exclusive Collection Hotels, IMG, their immediate families, anyone connected professionally with the prize draw, or any person where entering this competition breaches any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident.

2. Opening date for entries is 16:00 PM (GMT) 1^st November 2024. Closing date for entries is 10:00 AM (GMT) 14^th November 2024. No entries submitted after this time will be valid.

3. The prize draw is free to enter - no purchase is necessary.

4. The prize is for two and includes:

One night stay, with breakfast at the Royal Berkshire

The prize includes a one-night stay in a Cool family room for up to two adults and two children.
Breakfast is included
The prize must be booked and taken by 4^nd January 2025.
The prize is available to book from the 15^th November to the 4^th January excluding 24^th – 26^th and 31^st December. All dates are subject to availability.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Tickets for a family of four to Windsor Great Park Illuminated

Two admission tickets to Windsor Great Park Illuminated during the 2024/2025 season: 15^th November 2024 to 4^th January 2025.
Each ticket is valid for one free entry and for the date specified upon booking.
Lost tickets will not be replaced, and only the original tickets will be accepted.
There is no cash alternative to the stated prize, and the prize is not transferable or refundable

5. The winner is responsible for any travel expenses to and from the Royal Borough and all prizes and any payment over and above the prize as outlined without exception.

6. The winner will be chosen at random from all those who entered the prize draw and will be notified by email by the organisers within 7 days of the prize draw closing date.

7. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

8. The RBWM administrator’s decision is final.

9. As part of the prize draw promotion, winners may be required to participate in media relations activities, which may include a quote/review of your prize pack and photo session.

10. To enter, you must visit the competition tab on the Visit Windsor Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/VisitWindsorUK), or competition page on the Visit Windsor website (https://www.windsor.gov.uk/visitor-information/social-media/facebook-competition) and enter your details in the form provided.

11. There is no cash alternative to the stated prizes, and the prizes are not transferable or refundable.

12. The RBWM and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw and any of the prizes in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.

13. The RBWM and its affiliates are not liable for any accident, injury or loss incurred by the prize winner’s participation in prize travel, accommodation and activities.

14. The RBWM accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this prize draw.

15. This promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16. Entry implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

17. The promoter is the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

19. This promotion is in no way sponsored or endorsed by Facebook. You are providing your information to RBWM and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used in administration of the competition. In order to administer the prize draw, RBWM will pass on the winner’s contact details to Royal Berkshire and Windsor Great Park Illuminated in order to arrange prize distribution.

20. Should you choose to opt in, the information you provide will be used for email marketing purposes. You may opt out of receiving further communications from RBWM and its prize partners, Royal Berkshire and Windsor Great Park Illuminated by unsubscribing from their emails at any time.
