Platinum Jubilee events continue throughout 2022 so if you have been inspired by all that has taken place so far, come and visit us in Windsor during this special year!
Having acceded to the throne on 6 February 1952, Her Majesty The Queen is the first-ever British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
To mark the 70-year reign and the service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth, an extended bank holiday from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June provided an opportunity to honour the historic milestone.
The celebrations included public events, community activities and national moments of reflection.
2022 is a very special year, with a series of celebratory events planned in and around Windsor.
The Windsor Platinum Jubilee Committee set up a dedicated hub making it easier for local communities and visitors alike to come together.
