Previously a coaching inn, this historic property is located just a short walk from the oldest inhabited castle in the world; Windsor Castle. The Castle lies just over the pedestrian bridge that crosses the River Thames and connects Eton to its neighbour, Windsor.

The impressive buildings of Eton college are also a short stroll from the hotel along with a wide selection of independent shops and restaurants.

Road Directions

From M4 Exit Jct 5 signed to Slough East, Colnbrook & Eton B470. At roundabout below take second exit B470 to Datchet & Eton. Turn right in Datchet & Continue straight over mini-roundabout through village towards Slough. 300 metres beyond the village green turn left to Eton. You are now in Pococks Lane; turn left at the mini-roundabout into Eton. Follow road through 1 set of traffic lights, the hotel is on the right hand side of the High Street before you reach the one-way system.

Public Transport Directions

From Windsor & Eton Central - 5 minutes’ walk. Follow pedestrian signs to Eton & the River Thames. Cross the pedestrian bridge & follow Eton High Street. The hotel is on the left hand side opposite Tangier Lane.
