Comedian as seen on TV is live in Maidenhead
Sophie Duker is back and warming up her show before she heads out on tour! Sophie Duker: But Daddy, I Love Her (warm up show) is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Wednesday 15 January at 8pm. Tickets are £14.
But Daddy I Love Her sees Sophie take the stage with her trademark naughtiness. This time she’s arguing that we should all choose silliness over common sense and hot wet fantasies over cold, bleak reality.
Sophie has appeared on Taskmaster, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg, Great Pottery Throw Down, Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and many more.
In 2023, Sophie won the PinkNews Award for Entertainer of The Year after being nominated alongside artists including Sam Smith, Rosie Jones, Self-Esteem and Rina Sawayama. Two shows she starred in (Taskmaster series 13 and Biscuitland) were BAFTA-nominated for 2023.
Sophie has performed and hosted masterclasses in stand-up comedy and improv internationally, in locations as diverse as New York, Utrecht and Accra. Sophie won the 2021 Funny Women Best Comedy Writer Award, as voted by producers, head writers and executives across the industry. As well as regularly gag-writing for other world-class comedians, Sophie has written for shows as varied as The BAFTAs, Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle, Spitting Image, Famalam and Horrible Histories.
