Four broken AI entities are trying to make sense of the world but no longer have the correct information. PS145: The Diviners is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Friday 8 November at 8pm. Tickets are £16 | £14 concession.

In a fragmented state the entities explore a nether world, between the lines of stories and through unheard harmonics of music. Is this where the truth really lies?

145: The Diviners is an electrifying and strangely topical story. It plays out in an imaginary world not so far from our own. Powerfully visual, a colourful cuboid trap defines the parameters of the action.

The show is written and performed by Gareth Brierley, Sadie Cook, Fiona Creese and George Khan (in virtual form). Each night features a secret guest artist from the extended People Show family.

People Show are a collective company of artists who form the UK’s first experimental theatre company. Informed by a rich legacy of performance dating back to 1966, every new show is given a number to instigate their next enquiry. Creatively they are always shifting shape, actively defying definition… Unanchored by traditional theatrical structure, each show becomes an expression of whatever and whoever arrives at the rehearsal room on day one of the making process. Over the past 50 years, they have created devised performances in theatres, in fields, in telephone boxes, on streets, even on water. Nothing is predetermined.

The Diviners premiered at Golden Goose Theatre, Camberwell, London in October 2023, running for three weeks.
