A powerful exploration of music and dementia
Connected by the music of Frank Sinatra, this is an intimate, humorous and deeply moving love story. In Other Words is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Wednesday 19 March at 7.30pm. Tickets are £16 | £14 Supporters. Age guidance 12+ years.
They call it the incident now. What happened when they first met. He always said it was part of his romantic plan, but they both know that’s rubbish. In Other Words explores the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and the transformative power of music in our lives.
Presented by TBC Productions, writer Matthew Seager has seen first hand the effects of music and those with dementia. It inspired him to write In Other Words
Matthew has a First Class Honours degree from the University of Leeds in BA Theatre and Performance. As an actor he has worked extensively in theatre across the UK and further afield. This includes multiple UK and international tours with Shakespeare company The Handlebards and with Blood of the Young.
In Other Words has won awards in countries all over the world, received 5 star reviews and been seen by more than 300,000 people. It shines a light on the skilled and compassionate work of carers.
