The doctor will see you now – with his infectious comedy show. Catch Your Breath is at Norden Farm centre for the Arts on Saturday 19 October at 7.30pm. Tickets are £16.
NHS anaesthetist, comedian and author (oooooh check him). Ed Patrick injects audiences with a gut-punch hilarious show about becoming a junior doctor, the NHS, the pitfalls of modern medicine and the power of questioning it.
As seen on Channel 4, Have I Got News For You and heard on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Scotland. Ed also hosts the Comedians Surgery podcast where he speaks to guests including Joe Lycett, Rose Matafeo and Reginald D Hunter about their health stories and experiences. His book Catch Your Breath was released earlier this year.
He created and presented Infectious Personalities with Hat Trick Productions, broadcast on BBC Radio 2 with guests Charlie Brooker and Sindhu Vee. Ed has written and performed on BBC Radio 4’s Now Wash Your Hands and Newsjack. Ed has also written for the Guardian about the intersection between medicine and comedy.
