Great Fosters Hotel, located near Windsor in Surrey and just an hour from London, is an exquisite Tudor estate that embodies a blend of historic charm and modern luxury. Originally built as a royal hunting lodge that dates back to 1550, the estate is set amidst 50 acres of stunning gardens and grounds and features iconic elements such as listed parterres, a Saxon moat, and a Japanese bridge.

Celebrate the festive season at Great Fosters

From the cosiness of the vaulted Mowbray and adjacent Mandeville Suites, to the magnificence of the ancient Tithe Barn, there are umpteen historic, charming and luxurious spaces to choose from for your festive celebrations.

With 56 extravagant and luxurious rooms and suites, the revelry need not end at the strike of midnight and guests can expect to wake to enjoy handsome portions of traditional fare.

Let’s have a party no one will forget...party package includes hire of the Tithe Barn, glass of Prosecco or cranberry fizz on arrival, a three-course set menu chosen from our Festive Feasting Menu, coffee and mince pies, half a bottle of house wine, crackers and dancing to our House DJ until midnight.

The Orangery & Conservatory - up to 80 guests / The Tithe Barn & Painted Hall - up to 150 guests or up to 180 guests when combined with the Orangery for the DJ / £120 per person / Minimum number of guests: 50.

Running from 1st - 23rd December, our Festive Afternoon Teas will be making their annual appearance. Festive Feasting at Lunchtime is available for groups of 15 to 180, from gatherings of friends to the office outing.

For private dining, choose from The Wine Room - up to 10 guests, The Garden Room - up to 18 guests, Mowbray and Mandeville - up to 30 guests, The Orangery - up to 80 guests or The Tithe Barn - up to 180 guests.

Road Directions

From the M25

Leave M25 at Junction 13 and follow signs for Egham on the A30.

At the end of the slip road from the motorway, there is a large roundabout.

Take the first left into The Avenue

At the mini roundabout turn left into Vicarage Road

Go over the railway lines and continue to the end of the road.

Turn right at the roundabout into New Wickham Lane

Turn left at the next roundabout into Stroude Road

Great Fosters is approximately 500m on the left.

From the A30 (heading towards Staines)

On the A30, just past Wentworth Golf Club, at a set of traffic lights there is a pub called The Wheatsheaf on the left.

Turn right at these lights into Christchurch Road

Continue straight over the roundabout and past two parades of shops on the right hand side.

Turn left at the traffic lights by the train station into Stroude Road.

Great Fosters is down the hill approximately ¾ of a mile on the right.

We have one Tesla and one Universal car charging point that can be used free of charge by hotel guests.

Public Transport Directions

By Train: The nearest train station is Egham, approximately 5 minute drive from our hotel. The station has 2 platforms with trains running to Weybridge, London Waterloo and Reading. Ascot train station is also close by, approximately a 20 minute drive from our hotel. There are 3 platforms currently in use, with trains running to Aldershot, Reading and London Waterloo.

Airport Transfers are available from Heathrow by Request. A fee will apply.

A helicopter landing site is available to book by request.
