140 reviewsSituated in the heart of the Royal town of Windsor, The Windsor Guildhall is a stunning private hire venue, ideal for weddings, dinners, event hire and filming opportunities. The building dates from 1689 and is a unique historic venue with royal connections that span the centuries. The Guildhall can host up to 100 guests.
The Windsor Guildhall was the chosen wedding venue of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla (when they were The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall), as well as that of Sir Elton John and David Furnish.
All bookings gain exclusive hire of the magnificent Council Chamber, which is an ideal backdrop for ceremonies of all sizes. Flooded with natural daylight, surrounded by royal portraits of the last five centuries and lit by the glittering chandeliers (on loan from the Royal Collection Trust on behalf of The Monarch), the Council Chamber is a stunning room in which to tie the knot or host an event.
The Windsor Guildhall is a popular choice for small, intimate weddings but can also cater for larger wedding parties of up to 100 people. It was the Royal Borough's most popular licenced venue for weddings and ceremonies in 2023.
You can find out more about getting married at the Windsor Guildhall on the Royal Borough website or on the Windsor Guildhall Instagram page.
The Guildhall is an iconic venue for groups of up to 100 people.
The main event space at the Windsor Guildhall is the Council Chamber which is full of stunning heritage features which provide a truly unique backdrop to your event. In 2023 this prestigious room was chosen by the UK Prime Minister to host a press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Alongside the Chamber, the Ascot Room with its stunning stained glass windows and royal portraits was the location chosen by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla for their marriage in 2005.
